The tree-shaped landmark
A real, tree-shaped structure with a generous central atrium, tall buttress roots, and a continuous ramp-first circulation concept.
Six symmetrical structural uprights rise from the foundation toward the roof around a six-point atrium. The target clear interior span is approximately 60 feet from inner upright to inner upright. The current concept envisions roughly 5,000 square feet across the building's levels; this is a planning estimate.
Exterior bark-like surfaces are envisioned in fiber-reinforced shotcrete or comparable engineered materials, subject to design review. Tall, slender buttress roots would extend approximately 50–75 feet outward and visually taper into the trunk one or two floors above ground. Windows and shutters should blend with the bark when closed.
The primary circulation concept is a continuous ramp from the basement/garage to the roof, with stairs secondary. The preliminary ramp target is approximately 40 inches wide and 8 inches thick; these are ideas to evaluate, not accessibility or structural compliance claims. After ascending a level, the route should travel approximately eight feet around that level before ascending again, changing rings where useful. Routes may circle one upright or weave in a figure-eight around two, rather than forming one repetitive helical spiral.

Open central gathering space with main kitchen, library, and gallery.
Flexible utility and future-use space.
Four proposed guest rooms.
Master suite, two additional rooms, mini kitchen, and lounge.
Observation room with windows and a proposed landing area; any aviation use requires separate safety and regulatory assessment.
A shoe-free interior, whole-building dust collection or evacuation concept, concealed shutters, and a natural stone-and-paver approach between the roots. Every such feature needs feasibility, maintenance, safety, and code review before implementation.
